Volunteers plant 2000 native trees to restore river wildlife habitat in Fresno, CA

About 100 volunteers, including schoolkids, helped biologists plant 2,000 native trees and shrubs as part of a Wildlife Habitat Restoration Project at Riverbottom Park in Fresno, California.

They planted native species in 18 acres near the San Joaquin River, with the goal of restoring wildlife habitat, including threatened and endangered species.
