$3.5 billion, 23-acre redevelopment to revitalize Boston waterfront

Developers of the Seaport Square project went before the Boston Civic Design Commission in late August, 2015.

They offered a fresh look at the latest installment in what will become an entirely new neighborhood in South Boston, Massachusetts.

The $700 million development will also include 125,000 square feet of retail space.

The towers will surround a public courtyard and walkways, according to renderings.

The redevelopment of this ugly surface parking lot is part of the $3.5 billion, 23-acre Seaport Square.
