$350,000 in grants available to revitalize rural communities in Australia

The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal’s Small Grants for Rural Communities program is once again offering up to $5,000 per project to help enhance life in rural, regional and remote communities.

More than $350,000 is available in total as part of round 28, thanks to FRRR’s many generous donors.

FRRR’s Acting CEO, Natalie Egleton, said the program is focused on smaller communities because FRRR understands they have limited fundraising capacity compared to larger urban areas.

The Small Grants for Rural Communities program has a simple application form, which makes it easy to apply.

To be eligible, projects must address a recognised need in the community, and be charitable in their purpose.

Applications close October 5, 2015.

See FRRR website for application instructions.
