Developer Scott Beck has gotten the green light from the Dallas’ City Plan Commission to move forward on his $4 billion mixed-used development at Dallas Midtown.
Beck has spent years working on his firm’s 75-acre portion of Dallas Midtown development, which is a city-driven massive redevelopment of the 430-acres surrounding Valley View Center.
Construction will begin with the demolition of the 42-year-old underutilized shopping mall. Beck said he expects the Dallas Midtown project to take eight to 10 years to build.
