£7 million community-led regeneration in Hartlepool, England sells 100% of homes

A multi-million pound housing project has been a sell-out success after transforming a formerly run-down area of Hartlepool, England.

The project, which began almost nine years ago, has seen 74 new homes built on the site following the demolition of 199 older terraced properties.

The £7million community-led regeneration scheme, part of the North Central Hartlepool Masterplan, is a partnership between Keepmoat, Hartlepool Council, Endeavour Housing, and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency.

Councillor Christopher Akers-Belcher, the Leader of Hartlepool Council, said: “The regeneration scheme, allied to others in the area, is a huge boost for this part of north Hartlepool and the town as a whole.
