Summit on Coastal & Estuarine Restoration — December 8-13, 2018 — Long Beach, CA

Restore America’s Estuaries (RAE) and the Coastal States Organization (CSO) are proud to host the 9th National Summit on Coastal and Estuarine Restoration and Management on December 8-13, 2018 in Long Beach, California.

The six-day biennial summit explores cutting-edge issues in coastal restoration and management, and includes field sessions, plenary sessions, expert presentations, special evening events, workshops, a poster session, and exposition hall. The summit provides the largest opportunity to gather the coastal restoration and management community in robust discussions that explore critical issues, solutions, and lessons learned that face America’s coasts and estuaries.

Restore America’s Estuaries (RAE) is a national alliance of 10 coastal conservation groups that stretch from Rhode Island to Washington State. Local projects restore coastal wetlands, improve water quality, open fish passages, build living shorelines, re-plant salt marshes and restore shellfish habitat.

RAE provides a united voice for coastal conservation in the nation’s capital and advance the science and practice of protecting and restoring estuaries through on-the ground projects, groundbreaking science, high-level meetings, and the power of convening people.

Restore America’s Estuaries is dedicated to the protection and restoration of bays and estuaries as essential resources for the nation.
