Africa Green Growth Forum — Kigali, Rwanda — November 26-30, 2018

The Africa Green Growth Forum will take place on November 26-30, 2018 in Kigali, Rwanda.

The Africa Green Growth Forum is a series of events bringing together investors, policy makers and practitioners from across the continent to share experiences in green growth and climate resilient development.

With increasingly rapid changes in the earth’s climate, and its severe impact on Africa’s development, there is an urgent need to expand the sharing of sustainable development tools and experience. Such efforts will only be successful if Africa joins together to share best practice, mobilize resources and foster investment and innovation in green growth.

This will be essential to achieve the goals Africa has set for itself through the African Union’s Agenda 2063.The inaugural Africa Green Growth Forum is being organised to advance these efforts and draw attention to the importance of sustainable economic transformation and signal green growth as a priority for the continent.The Africa Green Growth Forum will take place from 26-30 November 2018 in Kigali and is being organised by the Government of Rwanda with support from a range of partners from across the continent and around the world.

Hosted by a number of institutions and organisations working for green growth in Rwanda and across the continent, the Africa Green Growth Forum will share national and international best practice and build partnerships amongst key stakeholders working for a Green Africa.

Highlights include the Africa Green Growth Investment Forum, Rwanda Green Growth Roundtable, Green Growth Champions Dinner, Rwanda Green Growth Policy Dialogue, an African Circular Economy Alliance event, a Sustainable Cities Workshop, the Youth 4 Change – Green Growth Solutions for Africa event, an E-Mobility Sporting event, and the Rwanda Green Growth Concert and Awards.
