Brothers repurpose historic school as hotel & catalyze community revitalization

The signature destination in Bothell‘s (Washington) redevelopment opens its doors today.

The McMenamin Brother’s expansive new hotel and bar complex in the 84-year-old Anderson School has opened.

Brian and Mike McMenamin have turned aging, historic properties around the Northwest into destination spots. This could be their most impressive.

The McMenamin’s transformed the school and its grounds into an inviting spot to hang out with friends and host community gatherings.

When Bothell approached the brothers about the school property and pitched it as the catalyst to a community revitalization, they jumped at the chance, using many local investors to help pay for the development.
