The Central Wharf’s wooden boardwalk is about to get longer and create a new, southern entrance into the popular downtown Buffalo, New York waterfront destination.
The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation directors approved a $1.95 million bid to Sanborn’s Scott Lawn Yard Inc.
This will extend the boardwalk another 500 linear feet to the south.
The extension will allow the children’s sandy beach area to be extended, and creates a new entrance to the newly-revitalized Canalside area.
