In Chicago, Illinois, the city’s ChiBlockBuilder website consolidates all of the Department of Planning and Development (DPD)’s land sale programs into a single tool that identifies the location, cost and environmental condition of available City properties.
The lots can be used as side yards, for new housing, community gardens and other uses.
Additional properties from the City’s 10,000-lot inventory will be added to the ChiBlockBuilder site in 2023.
Buyers can submit applications online until February 3, 2023.
