CityAge conference, San Francisco, California ~ April 5 & 6, 2016

On April 5 & 6, 2016, CityAge: San Francisco will take place in the world’s epicenter of innovation: The Bay Area in California.

Held in partnership with the City of San Francisco and leaders in the Bay Area, this 25th edition of CityAge will look at the business of city-building today, with a focus on the partnerships among business and government that are necessary to shape our cities as the engines of economic growth, sustainability and resilience.

CityAge: San Francisco will look at how to structure the investments required for California to thrive amid the population and economic growth expected by 2050.

Of particular focus will be the partnerships necessary to finance and build the physical and digital infrastructure, as well as the investments in housing, design and resilience that are necessary to build a more liveable, productive California. We will also look at how these designs can be exported to a rapidly urbanizing world.

Specific case studies will focus on real opportunities in the business of city building.

Among CityAge speakers in San Francisco will be Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, Toronto Mayor John Tory, San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, San Francisco’s Chief Innovation Officer Jay Nath, and leading investors, architects and innovators.
