Five years ago the Town of Devon, Alberta, Canada implemented a plan to revitalize its downtown core.
While a lot was done in the beginning, things have slowed down over the last few years.
The town is now turning its attention to getting the plan going again.
Marc Haine, the town’s economic development officer, recently presented to council a series of recommendations as to what could potentially be done to get the wheels turning again.
Most of all, Haine said he wanted to bring the conversation back to the forefront.
“Now’s the perfect time for town council to know what the revitalization plan holds,” he commented.
