The Society for Ecological Restoration – New England Chapter is pleased to announce our conference in the fall of 2016.
This will include oral presentations from researchers and practitioners, a poster session, field trips to restoration sites, and more!
The theme of the conference is Ecological Restoration in a Changing Climate: Ecosystems, Adaptation, Infrastructure and Resiliency.
It takes place at the University of New Hampshire in Durham on October 14 and 15, 2016.
The plenary presentation will be by Dr. Andre Clewell, a founder and past president of the Society for Ecological Restoration, co-author of Ecological Restoration: Principles, Values and Structure of an Emerging Profession.
Join us in discussing the role of ecological restoration values and practice in a changing climate and how we might adapt our relationship to nature for optimal resiliency in the face of unprecedented change.
