Entry-Level, 5-Month Position: Coastal Restoration and Disaster Response (Texas)

Texas Conservation Corps seeks an 18-25-year-old crew member. The Coastal Restoration and Disaster Response Crew member position is a full-time, 5-month (900 hour) term of service, in which members work mostly in Texas and are a state resource for disaster and mitigation services. No experience required.

Projects include but are not limited to invasive species management, habitat restoration, felling of hazardous trees, installation of erosion control barriers, fire fuels mitigation, clearing and restoration of trails, and post-disaster volunteer and donations management.

At Texas Conservation Corps in Houston, TX, young people from across the country and various walks of life share one common goal: bettering themselves and their community. Our trail-building and habitat restoration projects require members to do physically demanding service in all types of weather.
