A major regeneration project in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland has secured the last of the funding it needs to progress and deliver visible improvements for the local community.
The Aberdeenshire Council’s bid for money from the Heritage Lottery Fund has been successful.
The £5.7 million Fraserburgh 2021 project can move forward.
It is hoped the £1.8 million Heritage Lottery Fund grant will breathe new life into the Broch, with visible improvements for residents and visitors.
The project is focused on restoring historic buildings to their former glory, such as properties in Saltoun Square, with the Town House and Police Station earmarked for improvement.
