Global restoration and resilience firm moves to “Water Campus” to revitalize downtown Baton Rouge and connect employees to river

On January 21, 2022, APTIM, a global company focused on climate resilience, environmental restoration, green infrastructure and sustainability, announced that its Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based headquarters will relocate from an urban sprawl location to a downtown site. The new site is at The Water Campus, which a 35-acre research and business complex on the shore of the Mississippi River.

Company leaders credit the decision on a desire to support and help revitalize the downtown, as well as to reconnect with the river, which is a frequent focus of their restoration and resilience projects.

We are excited to be moving to a corporate headquarters that offers our people a beautiful and state-of-the-art facility to collaborate and innovate, that strengthens the relationship with our home city and state, and that connects our headquarters to the river and the levee. This location speaks directly to APTIM’s purpose and leadership in resilience and sustainability,” says Mark Fallon, APTIM Chairman and CEO.

The company’s new location will be at 1200 Brickyard Lane in Baton Rouge, and it expects to move into the new space in Fall 2022.
