Neighborhood Retrofits: $250,000 for green infrastructure in Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority will award 17 grants totaling $250,000 for green infrastructure projects across the city.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1L7MZOA ) the sewer authority announced Wednesday seven matching grants, ranging from $8,000 to $40,000 will support larger-scale projects to manage stormwater.

Also awarded were 10 “mini” grants up to $5,000 to help organizations increase awareness of their efforts.
