Memphis Habitat launched its Neighborhood Revitalization effort in the Uptown neighborhood in 2012.
This program expanded Habitat’s mission to not only include new home construction but also critical home repairs for low-income homeowners, beautification projects and vacant property demolition.
In November 2014, Habitat partnered with Lowe’s as part of this effort.
