In Boston, Massachusetts, Boston Harbor Now (BHN) is an organization committed to re-establishing Boston as one of the world’s truly great coastal cities – ensuring a vibrant, welcoming and resilient Boston Harbor, waterfront, and islands for everyone.
They are currently seeking a full-time Executive Administrator and a full-time Development Manager.
The Development Manager reports to the Associate Director of Development and works closely with the Vice President of Philanthropy, Development Associate and other staff as an integral part of the team. The Development Manager helps Boston Harbor Now reach annual fundraising goals through the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individuals, corporations, and foundation donors through direct mail, phone, and electronic communications. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, technologically savvy, an excellent communicator (verbal and written), an adept problem solver, and a team player with a passion for Boston Harbor and our region’s public open spaces.
The Executive Administrator supports the President and CEO and Chief Administrative Officer to facilitate the smooth operations of Boston Harbor Now. Specific responsibilities include maintaining the President’s calendar, coordinating communications, planning and executing business meetings, and providing support to the Board and organization-wide strategy and initiatives.
