Restoring Our Watershed (ROW) is a U.S. non-profit with the mission to protect and renew the Nandamojo river basin, which is a 12,000-hectare watershed nestled on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica‘s Guanacaste province.
ROW seeks a self-motivated, creative, tech-savy intern to help us improve our marketing and communications. The intern will focus on three priority areas: 1) ROW’s general communications and web site, 2) our Bees for Trees microlending program, and 3) the Nandamojo Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Spanish fluency and experience in nonprofit or environmental work is preferred. Ideally, intern will be able to use Mailchimp, WordPress, Joomla, and Photoshop.
Internship dates are flexible, though a stay of at least three months is required. Remote work is possible, in certain circumstances.
Start date: August 10, 2015
Application deadline: July 19, 2015
Hours per week: 30
Compensation: Unpaid
Stipend/Wage: Room paid for by ROW.
