Internships available at bay / harbor restoration non-profit (Massachusetts)

Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is a dynamic and successful non-profit, public interest Boston Harbor advocacy organization made up of thousands of citizens as well as civic, corporate, cultural and community leaders and scientists.

For 30 years Save the Harbor/Save the Bay has led the effort to restore and protect Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay, the waterfront, our region’s public beaches and the Boston Harbor Islands and reconnect and share these extraordinary urban environmental assets with all Bostonians and the region’s residents, especially underserved youth, teens and their families.

Save the Harbor has several outstanding internship opportunities for those seeking experience working in an environmental non-profit organization with a proven track record of success.

We typically offer internships for the fall season (September-December), the spring season (January-May), and the summer season (June-August), with some flexibility depending on the intern’s availability.

  • Communications, Marketing, and Events Intern
  • Environmental Policy Intern
  • Administrative Assistant Intern
  • Development Intern
  • Wed Design & Content Development

Internships are unpaid, and require a minimum of 15 hours/week.
