The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky invites applications for a Program Officer who will have the responsibility of managing an array of community development activities necessary to implement LISC’s programs including Place Matters.
Place Matters is a collective impact strategy seeking to achieve breakthrough change in strategically important neighborhoods in the Greater Cincinnati region. It is place-based investing that supports comprehensive community development to help improve the quality of life for all in our most challenged neighborhoods. The success of this endeavor will depend on thoroughly integrating this place-based approach with United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s ongoing efforts to improve regional measures in the areas of Education, Income, and Health.
The Program Officer will play a lead role in the expansion of our Place Matters initiative to help achieve this community transformation. This role will focus on coordination with community based organizations and with city-wide and regional stakeholders to make change on the ground in a diverse set of neighborhoods.
