JOB OPENING: Green Infrastructure Manager, New Jersey

New Jersey Future is looking for a dynamic, organized, motivated individual to create and run a program to mainstream green infrastructure in New Jersey for at least two years.

This person will be responsible for educating municipal officials, recruiting and working with pilot municipalities, engaging the development industry, and accelerating innovative green infrastructure demonstration projects. This person will coordinate the efforts of supporting partner organizations as well as retain and manage a team of consultants. Office is located in Trenton.

In addition to running the green infrastructure program, this person will support New Jersey Future’s other work around green infrastructure, including state-level advocacy and combined-sewer overflow solutions. Practitioners with at least five years’ experience in land use planning, green infrastructure implementation, local government administration, development and/or related fields are encouraged to apply by May 29, 2015.

Since 1987, New Jersey Future has been leading with original research, analysis and advocacy efforts that drive land-use changes to revitalize cities and towns, protect natural lands and farms, provide more transportation choices beyond cars, expand access to safe and affordable neighborhoods and fuel a prosperous economy.
