Johnstown, Pennsylvania hopes “maker movement” can reinvent and revitalize city

Imagine a new Johnstown, Pennsylvania that is reinvented.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could get people doing creative things, making creative things?Donald Bonk is a co-director of one of the projects that will revitalize Johnstown.

Creator Square is an idea that is coming to life for the city.

It’s called the maker movement and people are using high technology and old craftsmanship to develop products that can be made and sold from the downtown area,” says Bonk.

Creator Square will be centered around Johnstown’s Central Park.

It’s one of the movements involved in the city’s Vision 2025 development that will push creativity and revitalization in the community.
