On July 28, 2016, developers announced a redevelopment project that would transform an old metal foundry in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan into a high-tech innovation incubator.
The old Foundry Building was built in 1907, and for months, work has been underway on revitalizing the old building, which sits on a brownfield site.
Officials say the project will continue to help transform the river’s edge neighborhood, along with creating 100 full-time jobs.
CSM Group, the construction firm working on the project, says it will move its headquarters with 24 employees into the 53,000 square foot redevelopment.
