Lincoln (England) Castle‘s success story will feature on primetime national television on Saturday after it made it through to the finals of The National Lottery Awards 2015.
The Lincoln Castle Revealed project is waiting to hear whether it has been voted Best Heritage project in this year’s National Lottery Awards – the annual search for the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects.
A film on the transformation of Lincoln Castle is being shown on The National Lottery: Five Star Family Reunion on BBC One.
Since the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta in April, 2015, 131,000 visitors have flocked to the restored castle, boosting the local economy and raising awareness of the importance of Magna Carta on peoples lives today.
