London borough wants housing partner in £2 billion regeneration joint venture

The London, UK borough of Haringey is seeking a development partner for a £2 billion joint venture to regenerate the area and build 5,000 new homes.

Haringey Council is looking for a partner to support regeneration plans on 20 council-owned sites across the borough.

Land such as the Northumberland Park regeneration area, council offices in Wood Green and commercial property owned by the authority will be included in the first phase of the delivery vehicle.

The borough said the partnership would be “one of the capital’s biggest partnerships” and would help ensure low-cost housing is at the heart of new developments.
