New Jersey Future’s 2015 Smart Growth Awards gala celebration will take place in the Metropolitan Room at the Newark Club in Newark, NJ on June 4.
The event draws about 300 land-use professionals, planners, attorneys, developers, and local and state officials each year.
This year’s award winners include a redevelopment of a historic urban park; the expansion of an anchor institution in Trenton; a “complete” redesign of a major urban street; two plans to revitalize neighborhoods near transit; and a pioneering collaborative effort to improve urban neighborhoods prone to stormwater flooding.
