North Carolina touts success in revitalizing small communities

North Carolina is touting its success in revitalizing some small communities via the state’s two Main Street programs.

One program is for large communities, and the other is for small towns.

From 2014 to 2015, the small town program flowed $11 million into downtowns.

As a result, over 300 new jobs opened up, along with 63 new businesses.
