Join the Pennsylvania Downtown Center and hundreds of community leaders from across the commonwealth for four days of educational sessions, special events, mobile workshops and networking in Scranton on June 25-28, 2023.

Their Premier Revitalization Conference themed “Making Room: Housing for a Vibrant Community” will draw hundreds of community leaders from small towns, midsized cities, and urban neighborhood business districts.

Attendees are professionals in preservation-based, economic development and community revitalization, including both experienced and new downtown and neighborhood Main Street directors, volunteers, architects, planners, economic development professionals, public officials, volunteers, and consultants.

The dynamic schedule offers insights and best practices to common challenges in the field of preservation-based economic development, covering revitalization fundamentals, subject-specific strategies, and leadership skills necessary to advance local program efforts, leaving attendees equipped with new tactical and strategic tools to help their communities thrive.

In addition, theme sessions will dive into the ever-changing but high-impact issues related to housing needs and the untapped potential and opportunities in our own communities, demystifying non-traditional partnerships, outside-the-box funding initiatives, creative homeowner and maintenance incentives, and inventive residential recruitment strategies.
