A new report from the International Association for Great Lakes Research examines progress and lessons learned from some of the most historically polluted areas across the Great Lakes region—known as Areas of Concern.
The report covers 10 detailed case studies on the St. Louis River, Minn. and Wis.; Detroit River, Mich.; Muskegon, Mich.; River Raisin, Mich.; Cuyahoga, Ohio; Buffalo River, N.Y.; and in Ontario: Hamilton Harbour, Collingwood Harbour, Severn Sound, and Toronto Harbour.
