Brookfield, Wisconsin is experiencing a building boom.
Retail stores and restaurants are coming to The Corners near Bluemound and Barker roads.
But the mayor said that corner is just the beginning.
“This is really a boom, a regeneration of Bluemound Road,” Mayor Steve Ponto said.
“The Corridor Project” is breathing new life into the Bluemound Road corridor.
New construction will soon change 66 acres of landscape near Bluemound and Calhoun roads.
