RFP: A 5.6-acre city-owned downtown tract in Ohio—site of a demolished K-Mart—is now available for mixed-use redevelopment

In downtown Xenia, Ohio, a large parcel of land previously occupied by a Kmart store is now available for redevelopment.

The city of Xenia has submitted a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the 5.6-acre tract on 200 W. Main Street.

Local economic development officials are seeking a qualified mixed-use redeveloper to revitalize this city-owned property. The defunct bog-box store has already been demolished.

All development teams interested in receiving notices related to this RFP are asked to email City Clerk Michelle Johnson at mjohnson@ci.xenia.oh.us by February 28, 2020.
