RFP coming soon: Mixed-use redeveloper wanted for 2 acres in city center (IN)

The city of Carmel, Indiana is progressing with its plans to redevelop a 2-acre shopping center that sits east of Carmel City Center.

The Carmel Redevelopment Commission is preparing to issue a request for proposals for the redevelopment of Mohawk Landing Shopping Center at 700 Rangeline Road, likely into a multistory, mixed-use development like those across the street.

City officials expect to post an RFP within the next month or two in search of a mixed-use redeveloper.

Carmel’s mayor, Jim Brainard, says he wants proposals that will complement the City Center redevelopment on the other side of Rangeline Road.
