Halifax Regional Municipality (Nova Scotia, Canada) is seeking proposals for experts to provide cost consulting services for redeveloping the Cogswell Street Interchange downtown.
The request comes as Council seeks to redevelop the Cogswell interchange into an urban neighbourhood including office and residential buildings and green spaces where people can walk or cycle.
First built in 1971, the interchange was meant to be the first stage of a waterfront freeway that was never built, similar to Vancouver’s Georgia Viaduct.
Submit proposal by January 11, 2017.
