In New York, Tioga County has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the best use of the Village of Owego‘s $10 million downtown revitalization initiative funding, which they won in 2018.
Priority will be given to proposals that focus on reducing blight, reversing the perception of downtown decay, and on projects that have an upper story residential redevelopment component (in the intelligent European style).
The maximum grant request is $250,000 and the minimum is $100,000. When it comes to projects, there is a 50% match requirement.
The county is seeking multiple projects
The deadline for proposals is March 10, 2023.
