RFP: Project adviser or program manager needed for multi-year, $50 million restoration of six lakes in Baton Rouge, LA

The Louisiana State University (LSU) Real Estate and Facilities Foundation will issue a Request for Proposals in the second week of December, 2019, seeking a project adviser to oversee the ecological restoration of the six-lake system that runs through the City Park of Baton Rouge and through the LSU campus.

The RFP will solicit proposals from firms to serve as project adviser (or program manager) for the multiyear project, whose budget will exceed $50 million.

The lakes restoration project was created by Baton Rouge Area Foundation (BRAF).

BRAF also funded a $1 million restoration plan several years ago for restoring the oxygen-starved lakes and wildlife sanctuaries, and renovating the trail infrastructure with improved signage and lighting.

Proposals will be due in early January. (The RFP had not yet been issued at the time of posting this notice here in REVITALIZATION.)
