RFP: Redeveloper needed to turn 30+ acres of dead retail into transit-oriented mixed-use

The East Brunswick Redevelopment Agency (EBRA) in East Brunswick, New Jersey has issued two Requests for Proposals (RFP) for redevelopers who can revive over 30 acres of dead and dying retail areas and parking lots along Route 18 south.

The RFPs hope to repurpose these outdated commercial areas into a modern, transit orientated, mixed-use village where residential and commercial uses will blend seamlessly into a new downtown community spanning 30-plus acres parallel to Route 18, according to a statement from the agency.

RFP packets can be picked up at the office of Frank Colon, Executive Director of the East Brunswick Redevelopment Agency, at 1 Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.

Submissions are due on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM. For additional information, please contact Mr. Colon at fcolon@eastbrunswick.org or at (732)390-6845.
