On November 1, 2018 in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, the Township released its Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposals (RFQ/RFP) for the Redevelopment of the Tier 1, Phase 1 section of Scotch Plains Downtown on November 1, 2018.
The Township is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified and experienced redevelopers to redevelop the approximately 8.22+/- acre public portion of property available for purchase as identified in the Downtown Tier 1, Phase 1 Redevelopment area in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan that was endorsed by the Scotch Plains Township Council on September 25, 2018.
Proposals may also include any of the privately owned parcels or a combination of the publicly owned parcels and the privately owned parcels identified in the Redevelopment Plan.
Qualifications and Proposals must be submitted to Bonnie Lacina, Township Clerk, 430 Park Avenue, 1st Floor, Room 103, Scotch Plains New Jersey 07076 on or before 4:00 P.M. (prevailing time) on February 1, 2019.
