The Summerside Regional Development Corporation (SRDC) and its partners are looking for someone to write a waterfront/downtown redevelopment plan for the city of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
The SRDC issued a request for proposals on Jan. 7, 2016 and recently extended the deadline for responses to Jan. 29, 2016.
Arnold Croken, general manager of the SRDC, said the request could lay the groundwork for future development in the city’s downtown core.
“How do we thread our waterfront together with the downtown and the business community in the city so it’s all blended together and works well together,” he said, regarding the purpose of the plan.
