The city of Bloomington, Illinois and Illinois Wesleyan University have partnered to find the right form of redevelopment for the former Mennonite Hospital / Electrolux site north of downtown.
The City Council voted 8-0 on July 9, 2018 to work with the university jointly to market the city-owned, 3-acre parcel at 807 N. Main St., plus two adjacent IWU tracts totalling about one acre.
The city hopes to post RFPs by the end of 2018.
