Smart Cities Week returns to Washington, DC at the Washington Convention Center on October 3-5, 2017. Some 1,500+ attendees will hear experts address tough urban challenges and how to solve them

Smart infrastructure is the theme for Smart Cities Week 2017, which returns to the nation’s capital for the third straight year. North America’s premiere smart cities conference and exhibition will bring together visionary leaders and thinkers from all levels of government to see, hear and be inspired by real-world examples of smart infrastructure solving tough urban challenges.

Today we have the opportunity to create more advantages for our citizens, our cities and towns, our business and industry – and along the way, our planet,” says Jesse Berst, Chairman of the Smart Cities Council, which hosts the event, produced in partnership with MCI. “We can do all of that with smart infrastructure,” Berst adds. “Smart infrastructure is the foundation for future success, for better paying jobs and for a new era of prosperity for all.

Smart Cities Week delivers against the urgent global need for more livable, workable and sustainable cities. Join visionary government leaders and the world’s foremost smart cities practitioners for a unique, immersive event that ultimately answers the question: How can smart infrastructure solve my city’s toughest challenges?

Attendees will hear from public, private and nonprofit leaders and subject matter experts from around the world, and see the next wave of smart technologies first-hand. Keynote addresses, workshops, intimate roundtable discussions and panel sessions are aligned to six tracks:
