Speaker Call: National Main Streets Conference – Milwaukee, WI May 22-25, 2016

The National Main Street Center is seeking proposals for the 2016 National Main Streets Conference.

The conference will bring together doers, makers and innovators to address challenges facing 21st century downtowns and commercial districts, while building on collective insights into opportunities on the horizon.

Together we will focus on creating places that are economically competitive and socially connected, as well as developing leaders that can direct these efforts and pave the way for communities of the future. We are seeking proposals that address topics ranging from creating measurable economic impact, to placemaking, the arts, and everything in between.

We encourage you to submit a proposal that speaks to these ideas, as well as perennial Main Street revitalization topics.

We strive to provide content at all learning levels and to share perspectives and success stories from urban districts to small towns.

All proposals are due by midnight (CDT) on August 3, 2015.

See proposal submission page.
