The Columbus, Ohio-based Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA) and The Opportunity Exchange (TOE) launched a new partnership designed to increase opportunities for members to integrate modern technical tools into their local community revitalization and economic development strategies.

The Opportunity Exchange currently works with eleven organizations in ten states. Its platform includes over $2 billion of potential projects from across the country and includes more than 800 investors.

CDFA is very proud to announce this new partnership,” said Katie Kramer, Vice President of CDFA.

As CDFA members work to build investment strategies for their opportunity zones, we’re confident that the Opportunity Exchange is the ideal partner to help realize that vision and drive sustainable capital in their community,” she added.

This new partnership provides CDFA members discounted access to The Opportunity Exchange, a national platform that helps community leaders, project sponsors and investors of all backgrounds develop, market and execute impactful projects.

The platform provides tools and support to help development finance agencies and economic development organizations across the country market their community, identify and manage a project pipeline, and facilitate connections with a national investor audience.

We are excited to work together with the Council of Development Finance Agencies to provide the tools and education needed to help communities across the country maximize the impact of the Opportunity Zone incentive for their constituents,” said Peter Truog, co-founder of TOE.

TOE will join CDFA at the CDFA Federal Policy Conference in Washington DC on April 14 and April 15, 2020. Attendees will have the opportunity to check out this powerful new platform, meet team members from TOE and learn more about available resources, tools, and more at their informational booth.
