ULI Case Study: Riverfront revitalization in Denver

Here’s a new case study by the Urban Land Institute on a spectacular 25-year effort to revitalize a distressed waterfront area of Denver.

Riverfront Park is the result of a 25-year collaboration to create a successful new urban residential community in downtown Denver. Built under a form-based zoning code, which is a means of regulating development to achieve a specific urban form, the development includes 1,859 multifamily condominium and rental units in 14 buildings.

The first three buildings were completed in 2001, and two new buildings were delivered in 2014.
