Developer Khira Turner said new construction is reinvigorating older neighborhoods and attracting new residents who are accustomed to urban living.
“So many people are moving to Nashville, many from California and the North. This area right now might not look the best, but they’re not concerned. They’ve seen neighborhoods evolve,” she said.
They like living in a neighborhood with varied architectural styles and with neighbors with different backgrounds, continued Turner.
“We’re in the urban core, close to downtown. People want to be downtown. It’s exciting for Nashville as a whole. You want all areas of your city to be viable,” said Turner.
