A neighborhood partnership program is turning its attention to revitalizing homes in downtown Allentown, Pennsylvania.
In September of 2018, Upside Allentown announced that they are now ramping up their efforts to improve the city’s downtown housing.
“There’s no question we need to do a better job at getting that spillover to occur in neighborhoods,” said Alan Jennings, Executive Director of the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley.
There’s also no question the Neighborhood Improvement Zone (NIZ) has played a part in revitalizing downtown Allentown.
This is why they announced their intention to invest over $1 million dollars annually into renovating the city’s housing stock.
