The downtown area of Omaha, Nebraska has been in need of revitalization for decades.
Now, their best shot at achieving that goal in nearing completion, as the $300 million Gene Leahy Mall (that’s “mall” as in National Mall, not shopping mall) brings new waterfront greenspace that reconnects the downtown to the river.
