Fishermen in Mexico have joined a government effort to restore mangrove forests nationwide.

Mexico has the fourth highest number of mangroves in the world and millions of people depend on them for their livelihoods.

John Holman reports for Aljazeera from the state of Nayarit on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
