VIDEO: How light rail revitalized an old industrial park in Westminster, Colorado

Located just southeast of the historic core of Westminster, Colorado the Westminster Station Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area is set to become the next new mixed-use urban neighborhood and regional destination in the Denver metropolitan area.

The station area is advantageously located in an old light-industrial park near US 36 and Federal Boulevard — two major regional corridors in the Denver metropolitan area — and is now home to a Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) commuter rail station.

In a great example of the 3Re Strategy in actiuon, this video describes how reconnecting this area to the city viqa light rail led to its being repurposed and renewed into a vital mixed-use neighborhood.
